Radiopharmaceuticals used in Nuclear Medicine
The radionuclide used in Nuclear Medicine are called radiopharmaceuticals as they are introduced into the body.
These radioactive substances has to go through all the QC measures required by pharmaceuticals along with additional QC measures

Is Nuclear Medicine diagnosis & treatment  safe?
Nuclear scan is very safe. Non Invasive. There will be no reaction or side effects to the tracer injected.
